One-On-One Dog Walking Services:

Why One-On-One?

Many dog walkers choose to walk several dogs at one time, this can be very dangerous.  If one of the dogs in the pack got loose, or if an outside dog (perhaps off leash) confronted the pack, a fight could break out.  There is simply no way to safely protect all the dogs in the pack from injury or from getting loose.  At Loving Your Dogs, you can be assured that your dog is safe at all times while getting fit and having fun.  We are certified in pet first aid and CPR and experienced in animal behavior.  We focus on one canine client at a time.  Your dogs safety and happiness is our #1 priority.

"Knowing Your Pet's Health"
This is a private wellness consultation in the convenience of your home with your dog(s).  The greatest gift that you can give your dog is the gift of health and wellness.  By knowing what is normal for your pet, you can quickly identify what is abnormal, this way you can have a more thorough conversation with your veterinarian as situations come up.  Preventive care is so important to ensure that your pets live a long, healthy life well into their golden years.

Kim Guerin, Certified Pet First Aid/CPR instructor & wellness coach will show you how:
  • "Snout-to-Tail" Wellness Assessment.
  • You will learn how to take your pets vitals.
  • Identify emergency situations
There are many clues that tell us if something is wrong with our dog, it is up to us to identify them before a small problem becomes a big problem.

 Senior and Disabled Canine Care:

"As our best friends age, everything is a little harder for them.  About 5 months ago my dog Whistler slipped a disc in her back (not sure why, it just happened), old age maybe?  As a result she lost her ability to use her back legs.  I treat my dogs like family members, so as you can imagine I was devastated.  I did some of my own research and found alternative therapies outside of traditional veterinary medicine, to help her through her recovery.  I put her in a physical therapy program that included massage therapy, hydrotherapy and acupuncture.  I KNOW.....it sounds incredible, I wish I could go!  Whistler has made incredible progress in her recovery.  She is now the fastest dog on the strand with her wheels!  She can now move her back legs very well, and even walk a bit on her own.  The most important thing is that she is happy and participating in life again!  Dogs have a relentless spirit; they can adapt to virtually any situation.  I'm sure you've seen a 3 legged dog?  I"m sharing my story with you to let you know that you do have options for your aging dog.  I am happy to share my advice and experience with you at no charge.  I adore senior dogs!  I want to help them in any way that I can."
